Rebuild kit or pieced together setup?
Just seeing if people think I should go with a name-brand rebuild kit or rotating assembly set such as Lunati or Eagle, or buy each piece seperately. Thanks.

It'll be a daily driven car, built 700-R4, etc. Going with a .030" over (355) setup and want forged internals (boost later on down the road). Looking for mid-low 12's on motor and a solid 10 second car with the turbo.

Well in that case i would peice together a very strong forged setup.
Your going to have to pick and chose though on the pistons. If you want it built for boost now your going to want a low SCR. So you could do a nice dished piston from Diamond or SRP.
Do some H-Beam rods and a 4340 Crank. Splayed or 4 bolt mains too.
Tony.

Cost shouldnt be a big factor if you want 10s man, it takes money to get places.
The reasona peiced together kit is better, is because you can chose what you want and from who.
IE: VRE has a 355 kit thats Eagle crank, rods and has Mahle Pistons -5cc and thats not really a good boost piston, your going to want way more of a dish.

Yea, as I said before the turbo will come later on, but only expecting 12's out of an all-motor setup for now since the car will most likely have a smaller duration cam for the turbo and all-around different components as compared to someone going for an N/A car. Now all I need is $$$, but don't we all?
