I use Tunercats, you can also use LT1edit.

Tunercats is cheaper, not vin locked, and you can do more but is more complicated the LT1edit. Edit is more user friendly but also vin locked.

Theres a winflash or whatever its called from Tunercats that you can use also. It's sole purpose is reading and uploading tunes.

lt1 edit has the same features as tunercats ... just named slighty differently!

Question, here's the situation. I swapped another engine into the Camaro and a stock tune from another car was installed. Does VATS have to be disabled? If it wasnt disabled would it allow the car start and run for a couple of seconds before dying?

there are a few more functions/tables you can change in TC, but all of the main stuff is essentially the same.

Some people say the LT1 Edit is more user friendly but there is something about vin locking that pisses me off.

lt1 edit is a lot more user friendly, but tc isnt that hard really. read through this, and you can apply most of this into tc to figure out what everything does. tc has a few more not listed here, but the names of things are a little different ... dont need to be a genius to figure it out though!
