Default question #2 about tranny wiring

I have a 95 LT1 and i put a 93 4L60 behind it, this is the tranny with a tv cable and the 5 pin connector. the 93 pcm controls lockup only if im not mistaken.

Is there anyway i can dig out the tcc and other needed wires and let the 95 pcm control the lockup only and delete/turn off all the other computer controlled tranny stuff. Or am i Stuck buying a stand alone lockup kit like gm # 24502513 and just delete the auto trans controls in the pcm completely. The gm kit looks like my best opion right now honestly. and i will just pull all the wires for the A4 out of my harness and have the auto tuned out of the pcm and be done.

and lastly does anyone know the pin out of the wires on the 5 pin connector that would help greatly. because i may make my own if i can find a 5 pin connector somewhere.

Thanks

i can get you a copy of the diagram for the connector... but what i would do is, just leave is unplugged and do a stand alone lock up kit that you can control from inside the car... your wanting to get into a big hassel with all the wiring and all....
the 93 pcm reads the pressure only for shifting only... but its not a necessity.. i would either do a hydrolic lockup or electric with full control.... you will get better gas mileage with the full control... how long you been beatin on that tranny..LOL...

ha, believe it or not it just got put in the truck this week. I have been busy with a lot of dumbshit lately, it has been sitting in my shop for the past few months.
and yea i think the stand alone with full control maybe the ticket and just delete the auto tranny from the pcm
but the pinout diagram would be nice

I will let you know how the beast runs when its all put together, hopefully will be this month sometime

that is for a 4 pin tranny, mine is a round 5 pin
Also i want to be able to keep the tc locked when accelerating the vacum controlled ones wont allow you to do that. Any fluctuation of the vacum will unlock the converter, meaning it unlocks every 30 seconds in colorado
thats why i am leaning towards a manual controlled lockup

you will probably have to call B&M or TCI to find the one with the 5 pin connect... considering most people run the 4 pin.... im sure they have one... but summit is probably only selling those due to the low sales of the 5 pin...

yea in the first post i mentioned the gm #24502513 it comes with 5 pin and the 4 pin plugs. I am pretty sure thats the way im goin, that kit is about 50 bucks and probably the best way out right now.

copied from sallee
24502513 - Transmission Performance Kit for 4L60 & 700-R4 Automatic Transmission
Performance enthusiasts who prefer automatics will be interested in this new installation kit for Turbo Hydra-matic 4L60 four-speed transmissions originally installed 1992 - 1993 Corvettes and 1993 Camaros and Firebirds. This kit adapts the 4L60 automatic transmission for use in early-model computer-controlled and non-computer-controlled vehicles such as bracket racers and off-road trucks. It can also be used when replacing a 700R4 automatic with a 4L60 transmission. The kit includes an instruction sheet, a throttle valve spring for carbureted engines, a normally closed Fourth gear clutch switch and a wiring connector for the torque converter.
Technical Note: This kit can be used on 700R4 or 4L60 automatic transmissions.

dont even need to cut it, if you can find the plug itself just transfer the pins
