I'm kicking around the idea of sending a set of heads and intake to Lloyd Elliot and have him do an LE2 job on them and then see how much horsepower it's possible to squeeze out of a full bolt-ons with stock cam engine. I consider it a nothing to lose situation, because I'm already building another engine on the side to take it's place.

I think there's a certain cool factor about a stock cubed, stock cammed LT1 that's been pushed to it's absolute limits. (Or at least, trying to find them.)

is that if you supply them with your stock heads, or their own heads?

does that include the cam?

The price with a cam is $1,750. I'm not sure if that is an exchange price or if you're buying the heads outright.

Here's the link to his site, you can call and find out more details:

I'm gonna finish up my INT, find and fix a squeak that I have when I turn, and a CAI then let it sit like that till I'm outta school. I have thought about camming and spraying it, and eventually will, but its not going to be fun being broke with a faster car. I'd rather keep a my car 'quick' and have my disposable income,

I noticed alot of people have the parts but theyre waiting to install them. Some guys will sit on parts for months before having them installed, what's the deal with that? If I get a new part I cant sleep until it's installed.

Some parts are easier to install all together....and some parts just need more parts to work correctly

No use putting a new crank in with out the rods and pistons

!LT1 for me. moving on.

I am, however, helping my friend out building his LT1 up. car looks exactly like mine except its a real trans am. he bought used LE2 heads for a great price and we decided on an XFI 230/236 110lsa 106icl cam with a full comp valvetrain.
dynod 281 rwhp with mac mids, borla catback, K&N CAI. M6 car. we're hoping for 400 rwhp with heads, cam, and a tune

Trying to get a NA 6 speed 9 sec pass. gonna try it on a stock style intake. If I don't make it I have a converted single plane to go on it. After that..make it or not..a 91 MM turbo is sitting in my shop.
