Default What's next for your LT1?

Intrested in knowing what your current setup is and what you have in store. I have yet to see the full potential of my setup so I'm going to say tuning and taking advantage of what I have before going futher. What's your plans and what are your goals? My goal is low 11's N/A and low 10's with the spray. Let's hear it

right now:few basic boltons, exhuast, rr's, little bit of ignition stuff,
on the way: electric waterpump, double roller timing chain for a SBC(dont need the cam drive for the pump so i can use it in the LT1 block and get more power in that chain for 39$ than i could for a few hundred for a high performance lt1 timing chain)
planned: LE3 package set for low compression, STS kit with the biggest turbo i can get on it and still be efficient, forged interals for a 396 kit, splayed to a 4 bolt, fuel delivery setup to back it up, S60 with 3.73s in it likely, and a built T-56, and go crazy on the suspension, thats the plan now unless something better comes along, but it will be awhile cause im still a poor college student, but im doing a mech. engineering degree so the potential for the income to fund my toys is there as soon as i graduate

I plan on doing a LS1 or 408 iron block swap in the next few months. Then a tranny rebuild and a 12 bolt. Its gonna be a fun project im hoping for high 10's with a good heads and cam set up.

get my cam finally put it, and a new tune and dyno

fix the tear in my pass. seat..

paint- pewter metallic with gold flake and my NBM decals sprayed on.

wheels - the wheels on chases old electron blue ws6 with ghost flames, if i only knew what they were called....

zinc plated drilled and slotted rotors, i beleive you cant have nice wheels w/o nice rotors.

bilstein suspension..

in that order

sometime during all that - embriodered headrests with custom floor mats

well, to start with, my near future plan is to start the car and drive it, haha.

on serious note, I'm getting 3.73's with the whole shebang tomorrow after work, My Custom light weight SS Hood and rear spoiler should be ready by Monday.
after that, I will order an EWP, a 6AL box, front and back BMR sway bars, BMR STB, and ill get my rear springs replaced (still on OEM ones).

the first rebuild is done, but I am already thinking of the next on, i want to get a real cam, Heads, a short Block 396 that my friend have been trying to sell for the past 6 months, single plane intake, and Nice Dose of Juice.

Phase 1: Finish My Bolt Ons first. I just ordered the Electric WP.
Then fix all the small things that where wrong with the car when I bought it. Having both rear 1/4 panels, rear bumper, front fascia,1 front fender and both doors repainted, then Im replacing the hood with an SS and the spoiler with an SS.
Then comes wheels and tires, and suspension (auto-X).
Phase 2: Low compression fully forged bottom end first, havent decided on cubes. Then hang a t-60 out back. Then afterwards Ill do a custom grind cam and raised runner AFR LT4 heads.
