Have the Idle Air Control sensor checked. It controls your idle.

check for a vacuum leak on the intake....

use brake clean and spray around the T.B. , the ports going into the heads and around the EGR. if the rpm changes while you're spraying, you have a leak..

I have a BBK and it broke where the thottle cable attaches to it. You must check to make sure the "two part" assembly did not come loose. It could just be slipping and not noticeable. It will give you major problems.

I have a BBK 52 mm and I've heard of others having problems out of them with idle. BBK calls it "vacuum lock", basically the throttle blades are being sucked open just a lil bit when the car is idling and it idles fast. Mine isnt as bad as it was when it was new but it still does it from time to time. You can actually see that it isn't resting against the throttle stop all the way and when I scan mine it'll show .08 TPS% when it should be 0. I can push it back against the throttle stop with my hand and it'll idle down and stay there til the next time the throttle is opened. Not saying that's his prob but it's a possibility.
