Dude thats great times, I was running a 13.0 on slicks but I blew my 10 bolt. How the heck are you not blazing the tires when launching at that RPM. When I was launching on street tires at 1500 rpm I would be blazing my tires. Anyways good stuff dude.

Gears, (even just 3.42s), 16x8 stockers with 255 50 R16 M/T DRs and you'll be very happy...Your 10 bolt will not, though...

Dude I have the same setup as you (Jditlfm) basically, minus SLP clutch, the tune, and the none engine mods....I also have ported stock TB....I ran 3.64's with a 2.0 60ft......But the day i was at the track it was about 95 degrees with 55% humidity....think it was humidity???

Get 3.73s and you'll EASILY be in 12s...slicks will destroy your 10bolt

he actually forgot that he didnt have his 17's on the back, he had my old stockers with almost bald firestone firehawk indy 500's. those tires suprisingly do quite well at the track. they wont spin much but i think the problem is that we dont wanna break the rear.

slicks wont destroy the 10 bolt ... wheel hop will. As stated a good set of mt's, and you will run a 12 ... regardless if you think your street tires were hooking, you still cut a 2.1 60' which if that was a 1.8 it would off beena 12.8 run basically.

slicks wont destroy the 10 bolt
Ok so i was exagerating...slicks put a lot of stress/torque on a 10 bolt especially if your car has other mods

lol how is .016 a redlight? where you come from you guys must not bracket race? You gotta atleast get a 0 to even be considered for bracket racing here in Michigan..... so i take it you've never seen a .00 either then eh? Go watch NHRA on TV i guess

I'll be putting up some timeslips with .0s in them and you can see your first .0 with no redlight Now go practice your lights

yeah its been the same where i was if you cut lower than a .500 you redlighted i think where people get the .0xx's the track just subtracts the .500 from the R/T, not for sure though might just be different at different places

easy buddy, at NYIRP if you have anything less then a .500 reaction time that is a red-light and as far as me practicing bracket racing, its funny you say that because I ran my 13.1 consistently that night and won a nice trophy so bracket racing must be diffrent in NY.
