Exclamation Cam question...URGENT!!
This is weird.....but i need to know what kind of cam this looks like? Does anyone know. it looks weird to me. There looks like there is something missing, but i have no clue. Attached is a pic of a LT4 HOTCAM, and i wrote on the pic what is wrong with the cam i recieved.

please let me know!! thanks

It looks to me like a Chevy billet roller cam without a mechanical fuel pump eccentric. A larger view would help.

The cam is already at the shop, and thats the only pic i have.

What's the engine?

Mechanical fuel pump on it? Highly unlikely.

Who made the cam? What are all the numbers on the back of the journal nearest the gear?

Its for a 95 LT1. stock fuel pump. im not sure exactly what the numbers are on it, like i said its at the shop. I can get the numbers for you tomorrow. got any idea? what is it made for?

My Lingenfelter solid roller cam had the same area on it, The blank that they grind the camshaft from can also have the mechanical fuel pump lobe ground into it but it is not used in these apps so the just leave it round.

My main question is....Are there any LT4 hotcams made like that? I just want to make sure its a hotcam, and not something else.

Yes you can get a lt4 hot cam with out the lobe because that is the one i ordered for my my car but they gave me the one with the fuel pump lobe by mistake so i got the cam at cost

I dont post on here but that cam looks like a small base circle cam made for a stroker crank.Possibly a solid roller.And that blank is for a mechanical fuel pump not needed on a LT1/4
