I have a napa one that I used a couple of time but had a hard time starting my LT1 when it was hot. My motor has 11.3-1 CR
so I bought a torque master.
I have the recipe and I think I paid $125-150 not sure, have to check.
It still haves a warrenty

go to autozone, tell them you need a starter for a 95 Vette. It should be around $120 plus a $70 core charge. Put in new starter, wait and take back old core. If they dont check the box they wont know the difference. The vette starter is lighter, and has more torque to start your engine, and is smaller..

all vettes use the same starter. the earlier ones might have used a different one, but it's the same part # whether you want one for an LT4 vette or an Lt1 Vette.
Beware only the durlast vette starters dont use a way larger than stock motor...
