looks pretty good. One question though? are those PIAA 1100xx fog lights, driving lights???? IMO I think you'd be better off doing the conversion with a module meant to be a headlight such as Hellas 90mm headlight modules..

yea PIAA 1100X driving lights. I dont drive the car that much anyway espciallly at night. The only night driving I do is leaving the track (rarely that I go) But surprisingly they are really bright. The low beams are bighter than my old high beams. plus its "white" light really white. Im one of those people that pisses you off at night b/c there lights are so bright/white. Well those always pissed me off when I saw them coming at me.
about 9 years ago a company "Raytech" something like that. Offered a kit just like this. But is used PIAA 1000X and they just plugged in to factory harness. Only thing is they charged around $550. I bought all the lights for $300. 150/pair

nice! it makes your car look totally unique.
i used to have that setup on my old z, i half assed it tho with the pep boys fog lights and just hacked up the front and they were mounted hanging from the headlight brackets and it still looked absolutely bas ***. car was black like yours and the headlights and foglights were blue. low beames had an extra ricey little blue light in there. i wish i had a picture.

I bet you like seeing more than 5ft down the road with the new lights ! Stock f-body lights (93-97) have to be one of the worst headlight systems on the market.
I converted my 96 WS6 to all HID's last summer (6000k H4 projectors (main lights) and 6000k H3 foglights). There is a world of difference between the HID setup and stock.

I've seen the round head lights a few times before in pics. Never in person yet. I would love to do some sort of headlight mod with the intention of seeing further/better at night. I agree the stock setup sucks. I have heard and seen photos of the HID light but, I have to see a LT1 with the swap in person at night.

Sorry to be the only person saying something negative in this post but have fun blinding all on coming traffic. Personally I think you should have done it right, rather that installing stupidly bright fog lights in place of your head lights.

I rocked that look for the last 11 yrs. I had Rytek's original kit back in 96. Brent94Z and myself were probably the 1st to have that look back in 96-97. I was the 1st though to incorporate the DGM carbon fiberquad fogs though. I've only seen a handfull do it as there may be more out there but don't post. I just recently went back to the stk look for the HID's. Hella's would've been nice but were too big for my comfort. Nice work there building it yourself...
