bad results bad bad!!
yeah keep an eye on that freakin tranny man. my car started to rev way too high before the car would pick up speed and it caused my car to start to over heat. im really hoping for 12s with the new tranny, radials, and converter. if i dont get 12s im gonna seriously be pissed.
Either way, a Heads/Cam Kit NEEDS a tune. The stock computer cannot adjust to that kind of change by itself.
Not to mention the little things, like new springs, rockers, lifters etc.
Also, 58MM is alot for an LT1. I would suggest 52MM with the proper injectors.
Im not saying 58MM wont work, but I wouldnt use something like that unless I had a S/C or a massive heads and cam kit.
_________
You need to check you Stall. Try and eliminate all other possibilities too that you think might cause such a loss of power.
I think you have an improper/insuffecient air-fuel ratio,(tune) and your stall w/o a tune isn't helping.
( On a side note, I have heard of weak transmissions/rear's sparking the same kind of results.
Best of Luck Hark.
Should have bought a Vigilante

In fact, high R's is one of the few things that can soften such a well built motor like the LT.
____
If its a high RPM cam, you should hit a powerband high up in your R's, and your PCM should be tuned to match your setup.
Any heads/cam car will lose MPG, youre taking in alot more air, and more air = more fuel.
___
And another side note...
if youre pushing 350 to the wheels give or take, with proper traction, that should be good for a low 12 second car.

Depends on what the guys setup is, How well ported the heads are and what cam hes running.
If hes running a cam and head setup that wants to rev it will still make power up top, but that stock bottum end isnt going to be happy with the Revs.

I dont really think they are a joke, the LT4 vettes drive train arent as quit so they switched to the LT4KM.

I was really hoping for that $10.

Im so broke right now it's not even funny. I hate college tuition time and those damn book prices.
Whether or not the injectors are overkill for the motor, as long as they're tuned they're fine. But if he's indicated he's smelling fuel, then something isnt right...
