Default Which Oil Filter?

I was wondering which filter to use cause I heard that they can burst if oil pressure and volume gets to high. I have a high volume pump and want a filter that wont burt on start up cause the oil pressure gauge gets pretty high.

Fram PN is PH30. I don't even use Fram but I use it as a crossover cuz they're easy to remember. Wix's website has a cross reference guide. Just as a side note, the Mobil 1 filters you get at Autozone are extra long for a little extra capacity.

I glanced at that really quickly and it made me think of something. It mentioned Champion Labs as the mfg. for Mobil 1 filters. Champion Labs also makes Supertech (Wal-Mart) filters. They're $2.07 at my Wal-Mart and I used them on my pickup! I've never cut one open but I actually haven't read a bad thing yet about them. I personally use the Mobil 1 on my T/A but might try the Ea filter from Amsoil since I use Amsoil products for the Jetta to kinda streamline my oil purchasing.

I always use either a K&N filter (PN HP-2002) or AC Delco filter (PN PF454)

Just because they are made by the same company doesn't mean they are even close to the same filter.

I should've put this here. I use the tall Wix filter. The exact same Wix filter is found in the Car Quest brand. I've cut filters open myself and this is my choice. Even the K&N didn't look so good inside. Another filter I would use is Hastings.

I didn't say they were the same filter. I said they were made by the same people. Can't argue with that.

Your local NAPA dealer's Gold Class Oil Filters are Wix. Wix is a good company who makes quality filters.
