Default TNT wet kit

Anyone using TNT wet kit on your LT1's? I have the kit and it is installed but I wanted to know how big of a shot will the stock fuel pump be able to handle. I also have alot of other mods to the motor LT4 hot cam 30# injectors, full boltons, tuned by PCMforless.....

I'm running the TNT wet kit and its held up thus far with a 100 shot, but I am upgrading to a new fuel pump before I spray any more. Its just that little bit of safe insurance.

With a cam already the ONLY reason to spray on a stock pump would be if you want an excuse to build a stroker, no way it will safely fuel things.

I hope you are running the apropriate saftey stuff. espesialy a fuel presurre saftey switch. 96 caprice is right. Sometimes the stock pump can't keep up with bolt ons at it's age. it's good insurance to up grade

Alright pump is in and now its time to finish the nitrous install, So what shot will be good? I have WOT switch, and window switch installed gotta get a couple lines tightened up. I have a tune from PCMforless, But I really want to know if my AFR are ok to spray, and if my timing is ok. I have LT1 edit and a laptop, but really am not to familiar with it. What do you guys think. I will probably get an AFR gauge in the near future.

DONT spray if your timing has been advanced via tune.

Why do you say that?. Alot of cars have safely run a wet kit on the stock fuel pump. I know there is a limit on how much you can spray on the stock fuel system, but to basically say that the stock fuel system wont hold any amount of juice is a little out of line, you think?

If the pump is still putting out like it should, you should be fine. The one weekend I sprayed mine for a little shoot-out race here, I had a stock pump (still do) and made over 600 rwhp with no problems or pressure loss.

so what PSI should a healthy pump be puting out in Idle and WOT?
I have been thinking about this issue, and it would nice to know I can spray my bolt on cam car with out the hassle of installing a new pump.
