Default Gm 847?

i was thinking about upgrading my cam from my current LT4 hotcam to something a lil bite bigger and better ......... now i have been researching the GM 12370847(gm 847) and was wondering what kind of power gains i would be seeing........ i am also open for suggestions on other cams......

no clue really.. broke the tranny on its first real pass. 1.73 60' though.

Sold the car, and the kid who bought it wants to put a 6spd in it. I think it could have run mid 12's with stock heads. Have to have good heads to really get full use of that cam. Guys with smaller cams are running faster with stock heads.

I got the cam for free, only reason I used it. And I planned on some LE3's for it. Just never happen

yeah i was thinking about the LE2 H/C package but...... i heard about the gm 847 so i was thinking about just getting the cam.........

cam has gone 11.9 in a street car... Atljar i believe.. do a search you can find it.. it'll put down about 345-360rwhp or so on stock heads w/ all bolt on's

do the le2, you'll make more power. if you dont wana have to buy injectors, etc. then be happy with the 847's high-revving but realize without heads you wont realize a lot of its power.

12.39 @ 113 is my current time with the 847 cam and bolt on's, Hopefully after i get my clutch issue fixed and some Drag radials i can cut the time down lower.
