Default LT1/LT4 Guys, Whats Your Race Weight?

I weighed my car a few months ago and it was 3420 without me, and I weigh about 225lbs.

The car still have both bumper supports, factory k-member, heater core and AC compressor (dash is coming out this winter), and even has both stock sway bars on it.

The goal is to get the car to weigh 3200lbs by itself. It is a 97 SS with leather, power, and T-tops. Do you think its possible? I'm sure it is, just wondering what other things you guys might go for?

I am thinking of going with a small Dynabat battery, and taking off the door skins to remove the inner support structure.

Any of the big ones I am missing? I am working on seats, well seat. Not sure what to do there yet, thinking Kirkey's.

something doesn't seem right if the car is sub 3500# and goes 9.70's . I would think the ET would be lower. Either way still a bad *** rig you have there.

not really when i ran the 9.72 it was with DA of +2500, i think it will run a 9.50 or better at the right rack, last week got a new best of 6.16 losing the blower belt 60' before the finish line and the DA was arround +1500....on my 9.72 run my 1/8 mile was a 6.22

With the old setup which included the vortech, aftercooler and complete full interior the car weighed 3180 without me in it. That was with full bumper supports and no weight taken out of the car. Putting on the Mark Williams brakes and the other lightweight components made us drop jaw since I even had the stock seats (6 way power) and back seat in the car.

After I ditched the blower and all the heavy stock wiring and other tidbits that make the car heavy is should weigh about 3K #'s with me in it for next year. Will still have full interior except for rear seat(s).

3240lbs without me(180lbs), totally full tank of gas. 56.2% on the front axle . i have a full interior minus the back seats. should be ~100lbs lighter by spring hopefully, with most of that coming off the nose

Mine comes in at 3440lbs on a half tank without me (I'm 166lbs)

My Formula is pretty low option, it has cloth seats, a hardtop, auto with 3.23s (but no oil cooler), the power options and cruise, and that's it.

The day I ran the times in the sig the car was 3365 plus myself at 200 pounds equals 3565. About 1/3 tank of gas, Centerline 15x4 Convo Pros on the front, no back seat, no jack, no spare.
But with 17x9 5-spoke SS rims and 275/40/17 BFG drag radials. Not too bad. But I know of a few LS1s around here in the 3100-3200 range with minimal weight reduction. Does GM make an aluminum LT1 block yet?

Wow this is turning out to be a great topic. Looks like I should easily be able to get my car down to 3400 with my fat *** in it.

3700 with me in it. 11.77@116 1,65 60ft. Car was cam only with bolt ons and a 50hp shot.

Looking for 10s on stock short with new wheels, heads and a 150 shot.

New wheels should drop me to 3600

Our scales must be off. My 96LT1 A4 was 3,580 full weight (no weight reduction, had a full tank of gas, etc...). And it's not even a TTop car. Strange.....

Edit- That's without me in the car, too.

Mine was 3315 bone stock, full with out me in the car.

Before I put the blower on it it was 3550, and I have been working to get a few hundred off of it because it is way to fat....I've put myself on a diet as well

Mine is 3460 without me, front passenger seat, spare tire and with skinnies. I'm 225 so I guess that gives me a raceweight of 3685.
