Re: Need larger injectors for 383 c.i. ?? yes stock the lt1 came with 24lbs injectors but for the new set up i would get some SVO 30lbs injectors that should be enough

Re: Need larger injectors for 383 c.i. ?? Most people with Heads/cam or 383 LT1's get 30-36 lb injectors. What you need to do is scan your car and see what your injector duty cycle is. If it is high then you need to get new injectors. 30lb SVO injectors will work great.

Need larger injectors for 383 c.i. ?? Hi
We have a 383 c.i. LT1 engine , we want tp install it in the car ....
but their is an important question
I think that the stock injectors are 24 lb ( is that right ?? )
so , for this 383 engine , do we have to go to a larger injectors ??? and if it must be What is the best size for this LT1 383 c.i. engine ??
Some spec. of this engine here :
Ported heads with 2.00 int. valve
Lunati 25X/25X ( .49X ) 2000-6400
CR : 10.5-10.8

Re: Need larger injectors for 383 c.i. ?? Due exactly as the guys above said and you will be in perfect shape. I went with SVO 30lbs on mine and they seem to give all the fuel she needs.
