Just trying to see who has the fastest LT-1 6 speed car, this includes Nitrous, turbo, blower, all motor, whatever you got.
CamaroZ28 said that Taner is the fastest, is this true?

I'm hopping to be one of them <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> , but since the new motor is being put together right now I'll have to wait to see if all this money I spent, paid off. <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Dave Lewis has a '96 Firehawk Formula (black on black) with Fikse "Mag" wheels. MTI 396ci, Stage 2 LT4 heads/intake, big **** Vortech and aftercooler, and a nitrous after-shot. It put down over 900 rwhp on the dynojet. He still runs a stock T56 and has beaten every car in Houston from a roll. The car isn't set up to drag race, so he races those fast Supras and twin-turbo Vipers from 60-150 mph on deserted highways late at night.
You may have seen the car featured in GM High Tech Performance a few months ago. Had some title like "Creeping Death" or something
Soon there will be a 700R4 tranny installed, and the car will be set up for the drags....

My car is a tank. 3605 lbs raceweight with the Draglites. 3700+ lbs with the 18" wheels/tires
I haven't done any weight reduction, I like a "complete" car. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

EDIT: LOL nevermind, just read the "black on black part."

Its black and its amazing, Tony I though Lewis car was a 95 and a 383? He must have got a new motor. MTI built one awesome car, for the longest time he was making damn near 800 on just blower, the car had shorties, CC305 cam, stock LT1 brakes. That was his car running those Supra, I want to see it go after those Supras now.
Ol Whatley's Formula is pretty cool, I remember you told me you run the car the exact same way you do on the street, your lil blue car was going damn fast fo have stock suspension and full weight

Badass car nonetheless! <img border="0" alt="[burn out]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_burnout.gif" />
