Default LT1edit file

Hey guys, I need a fresh untouched stock 96 LT1 M6 file to start with for my programming. Mainly because the only files I have anymore are about 8 revisions old and I need an untouched file to recal for my 28" slicks and etc.

Anyone have one?

Nope, 95=OBD1
96=OBD2

Dont think the bins are compatable. I checked that page already too. Thanks though.

I wondered about it initially but couldn't remember if they switched to OBD2 in 95 or 96.

I have a stock one on my home computer. When I get off watch if you still dont have it I'll send you a 94 A4 tune. I have one for a 94 Corvette and 94 Camaro stock.

I found a 97 Z28 file on Lt1tech... but it doesnt say whether its an M6 file or not.
Im gonna have to open it up when I get home from work to see what I can figure out.

Hopefully it'll be what i need.

Does anyone know if there would be any compatability issues with a 97 flash on a 96 pcm?

Kinda off topic but I had a problem trying to flash an M6 file to an A4. I would select the transmission and save but the image would still be M6. Ed Wright said there has to be some changes made to the programming of the file not accessible via the regular editors.

It would show that for me to but when I programed my car the speedo would read correctly.

just to let you know I went from a m6 to th400 and put the speedo sensor out of a 454ss truck. the speedo showed twice (or more)what I was going.

I need a file for a boosted 96 or 97.

If you had used the reluctor from the 454ss, wouldn't that have corrected the problem?

I have a few files for my boosted 96... All the ones on my laptop are for this setup though and is nothing more than a 'safe' tune Jeremy Formato did for me to get her broken in. So everythings a bit rich and a bit concervative on the timing...
I can get him to email me my files from the stock motor with the procharger @10psi and 42lb injectors (werent quite big enough)... But the file is based off a M6 swap that pcmforless did for me a long time ago.

If your interested, let me know and I'll bring the laptop to work monday and email em out.

I did end up getting a bone stock 96 M6 file to use... If anyone needs it I also have that available.
