Yeah I know it won't help you go any quicker, just know that you need it for the rules.
So you bent the teeth on the 4.56 in a 12 bolt, I'm eventually going to spray on 4.10s in a 10 bolt, I don't see a happy future for my rear end either. So is the ring and pinion the only weak point in a 12 bolt? Or just because the of the 4.56s?

So are you ever going to spray it, or just want to see how quick you can get N/A?

well sir therein lies the delimma with me & PEPE, I like running the n/a all out what can I get outta her...but I'm itching for 9's and have not even made 10s yet so I know what that'll mean, I mean even with the custom SuperVic being built that's only going to give me maybe 20-25 more rwhp to the 500, now if I jump to AFR raised runner 215 heads and have them fully built like LME did my AFR-210s that might give me another 40rwhp over what I have now....so then after that $6k payment for yet again new heads I'm only going to be running maybe mid to low 10s n/a...so at this point I'm thinking yeah ok I proved my point...or I will when I hit 10.999 with my present build n/a...then she gets bottle. The 396 was built for a 400 shot, rings gapped for up to a 200 shot...and I'll probably run a two stage 175.

Bret

Pro Gears will hold up better but they are NOT good on the street. I am also starting to bend teeth in my 12 bolt with 3.73s.

I am thinking of going to a S60 from strange and having the housing cyro'd

hmm..teach me ObiOne...what is "cyro'd"?

I'd consider the new Dana60 myself if I didn't have such a good deal on a built 9".

The Dana 60 is very heavy, I would use a 9", even if it is says Ford. I had a Dana in another car, a loooong time ago. Overkill for what we are doing. Pro Stock used a 9" until a couple of years ago, still using that design. They are either 9 1/4" or 9 1/2" ring gears now. I'm old so I forgot which it is.

Cyro is like frozen. Warren Johnson says if you live in Min, you can just leave parts on the front porch through Jan. He used to live there.

It was built to handle it, but you know how that goes, no it's not filled and no I would not run that much a shot, I want to drive the car for the foreseable future, say next couple years at least, so a 175 would be very humble and stay within the ring gapping it has.

The biggest reason I was going to use the S60 is they fit the tunnel better then the Ford.

I have been very suprised. I did rock my block and it suprised me how cool it actually runs even after long drive on the hiway. It does how ever stay warm ALONG time

Did you fill it completely or partially? What's the rest of your cooling system setup?

Thanks dude! Well been kicked out twice two different occasions now, they know me pretty regular so I'm going to cage it finally. If I can get this shifting down right I'll get there, well that and get the right rear-end setup. What are you running in yours?

Damn Bret not fair! I have an 8 point and all the heavy crap Lets not even talk about the PITA Trans Blanket!

BTW you better get to it or I am going in the Nines before you hit ten's

As to my block? Yes half fill. Enough to tie the lifter area to the cylinders. I only went with a .020 over bore just to keep some cyl. wall The plan from the begining was to hit it with at least a 200 shot out of the hole. I gave up a little N/A but it gives up the full bennifits on juice

Running Half Fill
BeCool Radiator
CSI(CSR) E water pump

Other then that stock.

So come on Bret! Get to it!
