Default 95' EGR block off plates

how hard is it to install these plates to un-clusterfuck the engine bay. my friend has a 94' camaro with pretty much an open engine bay. i want to be able to see WTF is there. lol

and just these 3 plates will clean up and make the engine bay all nice and open

You don't really see them, they are on back of the Intake. What cleans up the Engine Bay real well is taking out the AIR stuff.

air stuff like what. my friends still has like AC and heating. but i mean his engine bay is not clustered in there. like on a stock car they have all the crap by the ABS under the hood. and his isnt there but he still has ABS.

That's what I was talking about, the AIR stuff, otherwise known as the Smog Pump. He removed it.

ya that ****. how do i take it out. all smog stuff and egr crap. how much will that clean it up. becuse my friends you can actaully change headers from the top of the car. and plugs. haah

i will ask him if i can take some. haha. i should be able to. but i am just saying. if i do the EGR block off plates and then remove the smog crap and hollow out or put the delete pulley in for the smog pump, will i have alot more room.

If you still run a catalytic converter, don't remove the AIR.

The air pump is electric. Sits just under the coil, under the drivers' side head on the front of the motor. No belt.

if we remove the AIR system is there any hoses you have to block off after it is removed?

so how hard is it to take this all out. i see the smog pump i beleive right uner the ignition coil. so i take that off and all the hoses too it and itll be cleaned up. what about the 3 egr block off plates. how hard is it to get to them in a day while the car is setting there and needs to be used. please let me know.

pretty much also. if i get rid of the smog pump and accessories to it (hoses) and the egr stuff then i will have a wide open engine bay

dood.. that is not goign to open the damn engine bay that much... i did it (removed emissions) and you can barely tell... i think your out of your mind.. no offense...

did yall throw any codes with the egr, and air pump out(all the emmisions)? if yes, anyway to get stop the cpu from throwing codes for that.

forgot to ask merv. how long does it take to put the egr plates on and take all the stuff that goes to the smog pump off. will it throw many codes really if i dont get my **** tuned. also if i dont tune it will it make it run like crap.
