One of the b-body guys actually measured his at 147lph that was YEARS agio though I doubt any stock original pumps will pump that today.

Also be aware at least the vast majority of the available intank pumps are all produced by Walbro and sold under MANY brands with slight fitment differences, Racetronix usually has the best fit and the wiring upgrade is a good deal.

Oh wow, so does the 255lph walbro actually pump 255? I'm def. going to install the walbro/Ractronix kit thats laying around in my room before spraying after reading that post.

So is there any set time/loss of pumping expectancy rules? Just wondering the life of the 255 walbro. I've got it and have to set aside the time to put it in, curious to how long they last and pump well.

Well I purchased the kit with the wire upgrade.

Just wondering how long they last now. It would suck to pull a fuel pump out in 2 years or something cause while spraying the fuel pressure drops off real bad or something.

i have the same kit... its a great addtions....they should last for a good while... as long as everything is installed properly... you should do the hatch mod just to make it easier to install... and in the event you do need to remove it... its easier to remove and install....

yeah I'm still contemplating if I want to chop my car up or not, I suppose you can't see it anyway. If I can't find another project though I might pick up a new rear end so I guess I will wait a while for installation.

Drop the tank and clean it out before installing a new pump.

^Thanks, didn't think about cleaning it out. Anything work real well for cleaning a tank out?
I decided I will drop it out anyway, give me practice for when I need a new rear end. Hopefully I won't need one but hey eventually spray on a 10 bolt with 4.10's.......
