I'll be coming in the 12.6's when I get mine back together. I am re-building with the same setup, differences are Forged Pistons, Forged Rods, and a very nicely Port-Matched Heads and Intake. Probably some new 285/40ZR17's also..

i'm get a clutch for sure. Tires on a M6 is kinda pushin it. I'd say some nitto555r's @ street pressure and maybe walk the clutch out alittle. If you staying stock bottom and heads, i've heard good things from the 220/230 and the gm846(222/230). Call Ed Wright In Tulsa Ok and have him Flash you PCM, He's the BEST! Poly drivers side motor mount( false knock) and some LCA's and a Panhard. Might see high to mid 12's

im also lookin for mid 12's... i have mid length headers, loudmouth cat back, FIPK, 80lb clutch, and a drag radial. and its a slp 96 ss. im thinkin cc305 cam and valve train...or gm 847. not really wanting to go into headwork yet...just a cam and maybe a 50 shot...but probably not n20.


how does that sound? if any one can name off their particular drivetrain in success with either of those cams id appreciate it. 1.6 rr? dual valve springs? new pushrods? valve guides?


or what about just a 100 shot?


i dont want to upgrade more than valvetrain.. and would like to stay away from n2o after just hearing about a local fatality due to it
