Here's mine coming out. No happy hooker and no problems. Really wasn't that hard, especially because I had fast93z and solid95z helping me.

The heads had to be sent off for CNC work ASAP because of 4 week turn around

I didn't remove the hood either. Which was a real plus considering the time I
spent getting my hood aligned perfect.

I didn't take any pics of removal or installation. it took a little patience and man handling but worked out nicely.

Thanks! I dropped the tranny out the bottom on a tranny jack before we pulled the motor.

Getting ready to do it again.

That was my 355 coming out to make way for the 385 LT4 stroker last year. Recently I hurt the 385, so it's coming out soon for a bottom end rebuild.

Nitrous. Either my ring end gaps weren't set right for N2O, or my compression was higher than we thought and things got too hot. We'll know when we tear it down. Based on the results of the leakdown test, I could have holes in some pistons.

Shame as that motor ran great. 432/468 at the wheels. Car ran 11.30's in 95 degree weather, pulling the front wheels 4-10" on launch (depending on track prep etc) I had since taken about 50 lbs out of the car and was aiming at 10.9's in the cooler fall weather.
