if you are having that much trouble with the gaskets blowing, check the flanges and head surface to make sure you are getting a good seal.

Also check the header bolts shortly often to make sure they are all tight and that they stay tight.

yeah i'd have your flanges surfaced by a machine shop and then get you some ultra-seals. I used them on my PS-Lt's and not one problem...EVER!

Maybe that's what causing my issue. Not checking them enough. Didn't figure I'd have too since I have split-locks. They are loose and I have carbon deposits all over the EGR connection at the header and on the gasket itself. This has always been a problem area. Bad design IMO. I think there should be a bolt at the top and bottom of that connection. The side without the bolt, always leaks. I might try doubling the gasket at that connection and useing some RTV.

I only have a few hundred miles on them but sofar Earl's Pressure master are the best I have tried.

Far as not checking because you have good bolts, well it is not the bolts that loosen the gaskets compress first which can lead to bolts loosning but the bolt loosening is a symtom not a cause.

Probly one of the best on the market next to copper. Both are more expensive than paper or graphite, but last 20 times as long.
