Default Going Long Tubes! Need Some Pipes!

Just ordered the Jet Hot 1 3/4 coated long tubes. (Also ordered a 58 MM TB) Got a question. Who sells a true dual or X pipe set up at a fair price? Gonna need something. Cant go running around with open headers. (it would be fun for a while) I could fabricate my own but it would take a while. Post up some links or if you got something laying around that will work, please chime in.

I ordered my x pipe kit from torque tech, they have different sized kits and they come in pieces so you can cut and weld everything to fit perfectly. I'm happy with mine.

What does the kit include? What else do you have to get? I guess I need to stop being lazy and look it up! lol

tsp makes a good setup. i think it sounds pretty good. you could always get some purple hornies to bolt up. but the summit kit with some kind of bullet resonators and run that

hey john ive been looking at doing this to my car for awhile you actually got the same headers im going to get. to use the summit system you just need to add 2 bullet type mufflers and turndowns. im just going to get the magnaflow x-pipe because i think it can tuck up better and buy some u bends to make the rest

Well I orderd the Summit 3 in. X pipe set up along along with a set fo collectors, copper gaskets, 3 in. turn downs and the Summit bullet mufflers. $212 shipped. This along with the long tubes, 58 MM TB should help. Oh, spoke to Loyd Elliot. Great Guy! Very helpful and forthcoming with information and advice. He will be porting my intake. I,ll let you know how it all turns out!

UPDATE!! I ran the car a few weeks ago and the went 12.29 @ 110 on a 1.70 60 ft. on the latest round of mods! Improvement over 12.73 @ 105 on a 1.80 60 ft. Thats almost 5 tenths quicker. Still have to do some tweeking to the tune and a gear change (3.23 to 3.73) to see if I can get the car into the 11 sec. club! Keep ya'll posted!

I'm running the TSP true duals. Sounds great, runs great.. just gotta figure out how to gain some clearance. And with the driveshaft safety loop in there... its real bad. Anyone got some tips for gaining clearance? Can't even get in and out of my apartment without tearing it up, unless I am by myself, and have nearly no gas. haha

I had an issue with the safety loop also. I'll take a pic of the setup so you can see how I dealt with it.

off topic, im sorry....but why does your car's ride height so high? not ragging or anything, just curious.

as for being on topic. my exhaust was done with the summit kit and then custom fabrication from a muffler shop a few hours away

No offence taken. Im not too happy bout my hight eaither. It sits like that because i took so much weight out of it. And i got Eibach pro drag springs in it also. So apparentley with that much weight loss i need some adj. QA1's oe cut a coil off the springs but then i would loose the point of the spring rate. So its a loose loose untill i buy some QA1's.
