you can set them up, alot depends on your power, line pressure and converter. Mine was real nice.

I heard Transgo is the good one. I am looking into one. How hard does it shift?
I have stock Stall, but I have the Line Pressures boosted by the Tune. It goes squirrelly from first to second already.

Is there a point in having one if you have a stall with the line pressure kicked up?

Line pressure create heat and kills transmissions, its better then nothing but its really a hack way of doing things, real drivers use the shift-kit.

or shift kit and multiple tranny coolers.

does the shift kit also help to increase the longevity of the tranny's life?

while on the idea of heat in your tranny. If you have a trans temp guage, where do you have it mounted?

You can put a temp guage in the A piller. I ran 1 B&M tranny cooler, the fluid is still fruit punch red. I ran it in conjunction with the stock radiator cooler. it is a new radiator.

its good to have adequte line pressure, this makes clutches not slip as much. A manual/mechanical shiftkit is the way to go.

Keeping temps down and a shift kit will make a tranny last longer in any application
