Default Engine Bay pics

This is the finished project. I got a couple of shots of that Panel I put in where the AC Box was.
I forgot who wanted the pic of the LS1 Air Box. I was busy last night..

Nope, got **** to do with it. Took a girl out last night in it. I have to baby it, and I was, and she was liking it.. Then we ran into some guy that I guess tries to talk to her, he has some riced out Honda. She was talkin **** to him with my Car. It was funny. Good thing he was smart to hear it and know it was something he can't touch, cause I couldn't race it.

if youre looking to clean up the look of the engine bay anymore you can cut a hole to run the wring harness through the wheel well. it looks alot better once its done IMO. just a thought for you but you definitely got it back together quick

The Bottom End I pieced together. It's a 4-Bolt Main from a Vette at a Junk Yard that was in real nice shape, the Factory Crank from it, Speed-pro Forged Pistons, Eagle 5.7" Forged Rods, Clevite 77 Bearings everywhere in it, Moly Rings. Then I had it balanced and put it together with just about all of my stuff from before. I got a LT4 Extreme Duty Timing Chain in it, and junked the stock one. I upgraded alot of stuff while I was there. The Machine work was $400, and that was to clean the Block up, press the Pistons on the Rods, install Cam Bearings, and to Balance it. It's alot smoother being balanced. I can tell already, and I don't take it past 3,000 RPM's.

Not a whole lot.

At least you dont have to worry about big *** puddles with a CAI that drags on the ground.

Yea, you do. I had to cut my stock Hood to fit it. I know it sounds like WTF..but I got it to look decent. A friend has a Cowl, we are going to see how it will fit on it.

Looks good, yeah when I finally get a ram air hood I think I will do the ls1 lid conversion so I won't have to be scared of hydro locking my motor when driving through puddles.

It does suck in more Air, reagrdless of what alot of people say, I think it does. The air has less to travel, therefore less resistance, and it goes straight in to the Engine.
