383 predictions?
the setup is: Eagle 3.750" crank, Manley H-Lite 6.000" rods(595 grams, save some rotating mass), Keith Black Silv-O-Lite 383(3.75" stroke, 6" rod) flat top pistons, standard volume oil pump.up top im going to run LE2's, custom grind, 1.6rrs, bee hives, along with a port matched LT1 intake, with a twin 58mm TB. and of course all of the fuel system components like 36lb injectors, adjustable regulator, walbro pump, etc. Im planning on running it through 1 3/4" long tubes to custom dumps before the axle. im gonna run it all through a built 4L60e or a TH-400 with about a 3500 stall and to the 10 bolt as long as it will hold up then probably a 12bolt.
so post up as many predictions for HP/TQ and track times. im shooting for at least 10s on motor even if it means a 10.99 but ill spray it later on. just let me know something. and dont say use the search because thats pointless cause no one has an identical setup.
B) times depend on about a million things we dont know... what does the car weigh... what suspension is done to it... I can tell you this, I ran 11s with stock heads and a stock intake and a stock throttle body on top of a 383 with a cc306 cam... so you could easily see 10's with your setup... but my car is fairly light and full suspension. I have outran stoked AFR headed LT1's motor vs motor... like has already been said... lost of variations. But it has 10 second potential.

a 383 is only good as its cam and heads package. there are plenty results on http://www.camaroz28.com in the LT1 section

355/383 either one just make sure you get a good shop to do it.
Take as much weight out of it as you can live without and get the suspension needed to use the power.
Get a GOOD/GREAT set of heads/cam and things will roll nicely.
It is a complete package. I recommend talking with Advanced Induction about your goals and see what they can do for you. Money back gaurantee, who else offers that?

some of this is probably true.
