I am At the point to remove my heads from my block, motor is still in car I just wanted to know if the steam pipe had a threaded fitting or bolted on somehow?? What would be the best way to remove it also.

I ended up using a hacksaw and cutting the tube the first time I removed the heads on my 94. The original banjo bolts on the steam tube were an odd size and none of my wrenches worked properly (metric or std). I put the steam tube back together with compression fittings, never a problem. And I replaced the banjo bolts with the 'updated' design that actually work with a metric wrench.

Just left that party, all you have to do is crack one of them loose. My passenger side would not budge due to not being able to get good leverage. Tried from under the car too.
The driver side finnaly cracked loose from the top. The passenger side came off easy after it wason the bench and truth be told the bolts could have been reused, but I did purchase new ones anyway.
