what kind of numbers are you making?
His DYNO numbers aren't going to be real good, a Th400 with a loose converter and a 12-bolt are going to show power like it would through a T56 and a 10-bolt.
Th400 eat up some power but they are basically indestructable.

Ben, what did I tell you about thinking about cam specs!!!!! Just leave them alone and see how they run, cause that's all that matters anyways.
Yea yea I know, lol. I just try to understand them

Wish I could have been there to help you out. I hope we can meet up later at a track day and see what can be done.

just awesome numbers...i went with a bigger cam from bret to try and get me the same place, but now it has me guessing what mine will run on a similar setup but lighter, and more stall with the 4l60e. awesome awesome numbers for both you and alan and keep everyone posted on the future.
sidethought..those ported lt4's really work..i believe joe overton was running those on his 9.3x passes.

I believe the Joe O car has the AFRs with work done to them and a non LTx intake and VERY LIGHT and and only made a few more ponies than the Abare car.

they were afr "lt4" heads..the accel pro ram setup was trick and he was lighter. rick's car had a custom tuning setup i believe for each cylinder but i dont remember. either way..both badass cars.
the 11.1x was sweet though. props.

You should really look into the Joe O set up. the only thing that makes it an LTx is the block and opti and if you look real close, he has has EGT set up on each tube. And what tuning set up did rick have over Joe's car? Hell, Rick is using the Holley set up that 'sucks' in comparison to the set ups that most use.

May want to explain what EGT is. Newbies read your high tech internet jargon, Shon.

Gotta love the internet where a guy who runs 9.40s N/A gets an I take it you are not fond of Joe or his set up...He dominated everything last year and is one hell of a nice guy...If its so easy then everyone would be doing it...

I wasn't trying to be an *** to Shon, but the GUY RUNS 9s N/A with a small block!!! Which, in any configuration, L98, LT1, LT4, LS1-infinity, is awesome! He was his own damn class last year and only lost to P/A cars...and losses were very infrequent...The guy deserves lots of credit for running what he ran, period...

Those 255 50 R16s are awesome...I'm ashamed to admit that I 60'd the same with them on 16x8 stockers then I do now with 275 50 R15s on Bogarts

Not taking anything away from Joe, got nothing against him really, other than the motor is far from an LT1 as we know it but no doubt it's very fast and respectable but my point was that one dude (dont remember his screen name) was wanting to discount Abare's car comparing it to Joe's car.

Abare's car is more LT1 than Joe's car, that is for sure. BOTH are impressive but I am more impressed with the Abare car b/c it is an LT1 H/I and A4 at that.

BOTH cars have aftermarket ECUs, and not to mention all the 'work' that was done to the Joe O stuff, rather than the production stuff that Abare is working with.
