DYNOMAX That's the name I was looking for not MagnaFlow. I'll re-link to my intended "muffler". (Sin knew exactly what I was talking about heh) My first Suburban was a 90, I got duals on it (not true) and it went INTO one of those nad then out and Y'd and I loved how it sounded, especially after it broke it. It's what glass packs SHOULD sound like I had one on my 91 Bird but it dumped right after it, so it was LOUD. I put it in the stock muffler location. Sounded sweet untill I couldn't stand how loud it was lol. I think up-pipe farther with dual tips would help a ton.

I have NO idea what the diff between the above is. The list description is the same. 3 in/out steel aluminized Race-Bullet.

Guys, remember, he HAS TO KEEP CATS. He lives in Cali :\

I'd say the loudmouth GURGLES when decel if you drop down to a lower gear. I shift down sometimes with my A4 when coming up to a stop light and it'll gurgle but never had poped-backfire style (quieter of corse, but no it hasn't either way). It's the muscle gurgle.

if you want obnoxiously loud, I would suggest no-cat (cat delete pipe so I can swap it in for my cat when i want to) with borla with no plate in it. When I would romp on it would would sound like a pro-stock car. it was a lil to loud for me so i put in the full plate in teh borla and it calmed the tone down quite a bit and made it sound a lot better

ya I was bashing my flows after i put un my headers and !cat b/c the change in ehaust tone was like night & day...but now I guess i'm glad it's not raspy like others I've heard either...I'm still going with the hooker though

I always thought the ls1's sound was more mechanical sounding but not as deep as an iron block. IMO LT1's are known to sound deeper.

Start with headers, so you approach your exhaust sound in a smarter way.

Your tone is going to change with the headers for sure.

Revelation Z28,
listen to me very carefully and remember what im about to tell you. if you put pacesetters on your car yourself or if you have someone else do it. MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE FLANGE WITH A STRAIGHT EDGE TO MAKE SURE IT IS FLAT. i bought pacesetters and one of the flanges was not true, and the header bolts would not pull it tight enough without breaking. so when i got them on, i had exhaust leaks like hell, and basically had to reinstall one of the headers P.I.T.A. for sure. they made the deal good and everything it was just a defect but just make sure, on any headers, that the flange is straight, save yourself a heart attack. good luck.

if you are looking for a real deep tone, hooker is the way to go, my buddy has a setup for sale if you are interested.... its the deepest tone i have ever heard, but his shorty headers kinda ruined it tho, he took that setup off and used a bullet now but if you are lookin, im sure he would sell it for cheap!
