If I've heard right you shouldn't hit your car with spray in 6th, dosen't that put alot of stress on the motor?[/QUOTE]
it may, but thats what horsepower does. and btw, id say you would be more stressed when that thing wakes up in 6th gear. things get awful light at that speed, and those plastic noses do funny things.

Right, I think it had something to do with the nature of nitrous though, besides, you shouldn't spray for more than 15 seconds I believe it is, it would take awhile even with the 4.10s and spray to top out 6th. I"m not crazy or anything, the drag starts to matter more than anything. Takes a lot more hp for every mph you start climbing.

i used to be able to hit 150 mph no problem with my 3.42's but with the 4.10 and 12 bolt i max out at somewhere between 135-140. Right when i shift to 6th the car has no more acceleration.

Perhaps the gear calculator is wrong then?? It shows 150mph in 5th with the 4.10s. I guess I will know in less than a month, sent the gears out to get mikronited, and have to order tunercat to reprogram the speedometer. Oh yeah and have to find a suitable road that isn't inhabited by deer, cops, or traffic.
