Default Vibration at 80 mph! only when off the gas!

Ok guys i've been putting this problem off for a few months but now that it's winter i'm gonna tackle it. I noticed this last summer that when i'd be on it past 80mph it didn't vibrate but when i let off the gas it started to vibrate BAD but then would go away if i gave it gas again. I'm assuming that it is the U-joints out. Just checkin'. And what is a good brand or will the Napa one's work good? Thanks guys~Cole~

Could be a problem with your pinion angle.

Should i pull my rear cover and check for unusual wear on the ring and pinion gears. It would leave wear marks in the wrong spots on the teeth if it's off right?

GM balanced the driveline with it installed on the vehicle. Pull the driveline and take it to a good driveline company and have them balance it by its-self. You might as well have them install some new u-joints while you are there. I would recommend that you use a u-joint that doesn't have a grease zert, as the greaseless u-joint uses a synthetic grease that will last longer than a greaseable u-joint. They are also much stronger as well.
Both my T/A's had a bad vibration starting a about 80-85 and would go away at about 125. After 125, I never had a vibration problem all the way to 160(would have kept going but ran out of straight road where I was testing my top speed runs).
