Exclamation I Have Problems And Stuff For Sale

first off lets see if anyone can figure out my problems, i just put my LT4 blower motor in and after i broke it in i started beatin it around and anytime i take it past 5,500 to 6,000 it starts breakin up. any ideas? i dont have a blower on it yet. could it be time for a better ignition?mods are:: 383 Lt4 6spd,ported heads,9.5:1 comp,58mm TB,ram air,MSD coil,255lph pump,long tubes,stock opti,crower blower cam,comp is programed to this new setup.

also i started my car the other day and my security light didnt go out until 5 minutes later? is my key goin bad?

You didn't mention injectors. I'd venture to guess you're running out of fuel.

LT4 blower motor
I don't quite think you understand how confused I was by your wording. I couldn't imagine why you'd need to break in a blower motor, or even know how many RPMs it was spinning at. NOR Why your ignition, or other mods would impact it LOL Then I figured you must be talking about Blown (Supercharged) LT4

Yes, I vote for Injectors.

Yeah, I was thinkin the same thing.

i dont know i have 30lb injectors runnin N/A shouldnt that be enough? i have my fuel press. set at 43-45 should i turn it up some?

Wait, so you're running a motor set up for boost, but you're not running any boost?

I'd say it's because of just that. Motor wasn't made to run w/o boost. Cams are set up with boost in mind.

What make of crank? Is 4340 or 5140 forged? How many miles on the h-beam rods and crank?

i have the computer programed for the motor without boost. i dont think thats why

Programmed or not, the cam being a boost cam could still be the problem. Afterall, you didn't build the motot.
