Fuel Pressure drops 5lbs upon accel; then goes back up to where it's suppossed to be. Any ideas. my car is backfiring at 2500 rpms and up. It only does this when it's warm. I also have a lean condition to the driverside plugs. Could this be the fuel pump. Could it have enough pressure but not enough flow?

Probablly need a bit more info.
Is it lean on the spray or losing fuel pressure under normal driving? If on the spray, what size shot are you running? What are your fuel system specs? Any other info would be very helpful.
