You would obviously have to recharge the batteries before too long also. It's interesting to think about though.
ok... so my 100 amp guesstimate was off the downside to all those advantages is the 4 altenators and 9 batteries you would need to power it.... 200 extra pounds = 30 HP

just reread... saw you mentioned the weight. but you would also have to make this dependable and not burn the car to the ground when a wire grounds out
