GM 847 cam needed!! hey guys, i was just wondering where i can score a gm 847 camshaft for my 94 z28. Also what size rockers should i run with that cam?? thanks alot guys.
here is what it is going in. I picked this car up for $1000 dollars. Going to be a real good street/strip car. Its going to the body shop this weekend to get fixed and repainted.

yup, i have a stall converter on order, although i havnt decided on what gears i should go with yet.

Verdad Gallardo 3.73's with an auto and 26" (stock size) tire won't trap you that high...if you're shifting around 6400 rpm..you will fall slighly short of that at the traps. a 27" tire and 4.10 gear would put you right there.

I have talked to a handful of tech guys and they all say that stock lifters will be fine. Might want to take a look at them and make sure the rollers are not worn when you pull it apart though. I went ahead and bought brand new stockers. Stay away from the infamous Comp "R" ones
