another cam thread
another cam thread before you ask, the search isnt working to well from me right now. i am buying a car that includes a cam 224/234 .369/381 112+4. my question is would i need to have a notch cut into the pistons if i run 1.6 rockers? i dont have any plans for a blower application, so should i sell it and get a cam more set up for n/a applications? also, what else should i go ahead and change while doing the swap other than springs? thanks guys! 
That lift is puny.. the Hot Cam is .525 with the 1.6's, .492 with stock. You will not have a problem...
I think that Cam you have is just for sound, or a blower motor, something with alot of air coming in. I would get something with the same duration, and alot more lift, something in the .540 range.

thats lobe lift, sorry for the confusion. with 1.5rr that would be .554/.573 and 1.6rr would be .590/.610. as for duration i wasnt sure if it was i bit too biased on the exhaust side of things.
