While an am doing my H/C i decided to delete my EGR apart from removing the pipe and the valve. Do i just remove the solenoid to and plug the hole in the D-side of the intake manifold.

On my 1993 LT1 what is really involved in tearing it off? I know what is the EGR stuff but on the intake right next to the EGR setup there is another huge deal with tubes going to it. It has a bunch of hoses (about the size of a garden hose) going from it that come up to the front of the motor and attach at a junction block of some sort. That part of the EGR system too? Anyone know of a writeup of everything to remove and tips to blocking stuff off?

You don't need block off plates for the AIR, just plug off the little connection on the Intake and you are good. Looks like everything else is gone out of it, you putting on LT's?
As far as the EGR, you take all the junk off of the back and put on block off plates there. Then you remove the little Solenoid for it, and plug off the Vacuum connection on the Intake that is right there.

You can get block off plates for the EGR openings on the back of the intake on EBAY or you can just make your own. All you do is unbolt the solenoid and tubing and plug off the holes where they went. The computer will throw a code unless you have the EGR deleted out of the computer and in my case it still throws a quad driver code. Im currently researching how to get rid of that code.
