Corvette block?

Found another LT1 engine for a deal, this one apparently comes from a 96 Vette. Is there anything different to this one than there is on the 2 96's I have, both of those from F-Cars?

i think vettes came with 4 bolt mains . thats the only diff. i know of on the block .

Vettes have 4-bolt mains, and you will have to use a Vette Starter. I put one in my car as the new motor. Here is a pic..

I didnt have to use the Vette starter

I got my old one somewhere, it had spun mains, but machineable. I think my friend is trying to do that now..
