Default will I be able to hit low 12s to 11s with the set-up

Right now I am going with stock heads P&P. and gasket matched.
Ported intake and gasket matched
58 mm TB with intake port matched.
Comp pro mag 1.6RRs. comp forged push rods.
custom cam with springs to match.
30lb injectors
LT headers. Custom ORY with no cat.
MSD opti.
yank 3600 stall.
3.73 rear end.

My goal is really to be around a 12.4 or under. Currently before my motor tear down I was running a 13.5-13.6 with the mods in my sig and 2.73s in the rear.

I just cant think of anything else to add with out rebuild the block which I do not want to do yet.

Anyone have any suggestions on performance part I might have forgot to add.

I am hoping for at least 12.5s or lower. I will be getting a mild P&P unless I find some nice CNC'd heads cheap. But hoping the custom cam will make up for the heads. lol Well I guess I will just have to finish building it and find out

With slicks I think you can easily reach low 12's to high 11's, there are many h/c/bolton m6 lt1's hitting low 12's to mid-high 11's. You have an auto so that gives you more consistency, and the ability to launch better on your 10 bolt without snapping it. On my current setup I'm hoping to hit low 12's to high 11's with slicks, my 315 nittos are worthless all I do is blow the tires off...even with them at 16psi Let us know how everything goes.

I see 12.4s w/ what was listed, and I see 11s if you add subframe connectors and lower control arms and tires to the list.

I def see better then mid 12s, maybe mid 12s on street tires with a 2.2 60', but if you get a tire and cut a decent 60' low 12s should be a gurantee with that set-up, I can see high 11s out of it on a good day though.

A mild cam only car(think hotcam) should be able to hit mid 12s hopefully your custom cam will be alitte bit bigger and you'll have heads to boot, defintely don't see you having a problem hitting a low 12.

With juice, you should be well into the 11s

Way too many variables to predict anything...Depends on how the heads are done, what size cam goes in, suspension, tires, tuning, etc...

Also where are you from, what's the ALt and DA at your track and what is your raceweight? if that setup was in my car I would say you could hit 11's if tuned right, but most people think I run faster then I should with my mods anyway...

I actually live kinda close to you I am in ohio. I couldn't give ya ALt or DA from the track I havent ran there in awhile. High 11s are my goal but if i can get mid to low 12s with this set-up even I would still be happy. my next plans after this will be a 355 or 383. I'll let everyone know how it goes I will be sending my heads out to port pros. around the begining of January.

1 question i forgot to add is the MSD opti worth any performance gain, I will be replacing the WP at the same time so I was just going to get the GMPP opti if the msd had no performance gains to offer.

Quick Reply: will I be able to hit low 12s to 11s with the set-up
