Default lt1 clearanced oil pan

what pans are available to use on 383's? please send links or just somethin i need to order one tonight...the moroso one that shows on summit isnt stroker clearanced

Clearancing it yourself isn't that hard. Just make sure you take into account the rod as it moves by the pan. I didn't "adjust" my pan enough and I had to pull the pan to make a few minor adjustments so the rod would stop brushing against the pan.

If you're considering using the stock pan, I think the amount of clearancing is also going to depend on your rod selection as well. My Lunati rods didn't require much clearancing on the pan.

I used the eagle h beams and I didn't really need to do much at the pan rail.
My contact point was about a 1/2 to 3/4 inch down.

Canton pan actually does require a little depending on the rods used, my Callies H-beams just touched the inside screen/baffle and they just had to be pushed down an 1/8" or so along the edge, otherwise they cleared fine.

yeah, i quess your right, it does depend on which rods you use, in my case i didn't have to clearance the pan.

ok well i have Scats i -beams w/ arp rod bolts and i already clearanced my stock oil pan and didnt do it enough and it put holes in the damn thing so i just want to buy a damn one thats already done
