Default Got it now..

I know these aren't the greatest pics, but I did another setup with the LS1 Intake on my Z, and this time it's good. I got it lower in the Engine Bay, and was able to put a small Cowl that a friend had on the Hood. When it's day time, I'll get some better pics.
Check it out..

Much better. I knew the intake sticking out of the hood wouldn't last.

Thanks. I still have the LS1 setup, that was my goal. I need closer pics of it, it went in real smooth, the way it sits in there is interesting..

Off topic: Well someone hit my car couple days ago, got it quoted today, +$4K for repair on the rear bumper and quarter panel and check on the rear end. It's the other party's fault so its her insurance forking the money. I won't be on the dyno day because of this.

That's where I got hit that one time, right infront of Rally's. They hit and run me, so I had to replace a quarter-panel myself..

If you go on ebay, you can buy an LS1 radiator shroud and not have the lid cocked forward like that and sitting much more flush.

Already got all that stuff, it won't fit under that Cowl. Belive it or not, it sits in there no problem, and works. Don't know how I got it to work, but it does..

It will look better, I know, but it doesn't fit under that Cowl, and that is all I could get for now. I have all the parts and test-fitted them, but it was a no-go with the LS1 Shroud. This works for now, it fits and still flows the same.

That's why I don't carry my guns..someone just might get shot.
Seriously..I wouldn't do that, that's not right..just don't break into my house.
I shoot regularly, so I don't miss.. and that's anything up to 200yrds..
That and I would run out of Bullets before I get rid of all of the dumbasses here..

Im amazed at the work your doing just to get an LS1 Lid to work on these cars, i mean its not even that big of an improvement and not really an improvement over a nice CAI or something similar, o well, props to the effort your putting into it and it looks better then the intake sticking out. Nice work

maybe not the best improvement, but the fact that he is spending so much time and labor customizing his intake while most of us our just buying ours is worth applauding
