You dont count... you have an Ls2 in yours! haha

I like the first forth gen body style, it was my first car and now that my LS1 camaro is sold, I may jump into an older Z and do an !LT1 to LsX conversion like yourself eventually.

To people that have owned both an LT1 and LS1, how do they feel and compare stock for stock?, will I just be let down by an LT1? Ive only been taken for rides in highly modded LT1s so I really cant say myself.

bought the kit from hawks 3rd gen parts ($400) plus a new upper seat pad for the drivers seat ($37 shipped from Gmpartsdirect) and then paid someone $450 to sew in the plastic side pieces from my original upholstery and assemble the front seats (it was originally going to be $200-$250 but then i couldn't get everything to line up once he installed the upholstery so i had to take them back and have him adjust everything and finish the assembly) i did the rear seats myself.

yeah unfortunately GM no longer makes the plastic accordian side pieces so if you want to maintain a stock appearance you have to have yours cut from your original upholstery and sewn into the new covers. you can get away with not doing that but it just doesn't look right imo. here's the hawks kit on a 91-92 T/A 'vert and he didn't swap his plastics so you can see how that looks.

here's some more pics of mine. they aren't 100% factory perfect (they fit a little looser than stock) but they sure beat torn up side bolsters and torn rear seat tops, lol. they are also a hair lighter than the stock 93-96 graphite but its not really noticeable even with the contrasting seat plastics

Before

Lt1 cars look 10000000x better in my opinion, i love my T-a and id never part with it since i built the bitch from scratch.
After
At some point down the road I am going to repaint my Z28 this color. One of my favorites!

Here's some more.
I've been ridiculously busy and I have to resize pics to get them to download. Hope this helps...

I started stripping and polishing the lips, but I only got one done and got sidetracked.
And that's ^ not it. Sorry!

I love my lt1. I have friends that say I should have saved and got a ls1 car. I say that 4 grand I saved over a ls1 car can make a lt1 fly. I love going to the strip and keeping up with ls1 cars. All they say is dam I did not know a lt1 car was that fast.

Thanks for the kind words OP, I was thinking the same thing when I saw yours. I guess were both a little biased though...

not to hijack your thread, but seeing as you have a 93 as well, what if any motor work/upgrades have you done to your speed density LT1?
P.M. me if you prefer.

My 94 was almost completely "stock" till last december. Some jackass decided to plow into my passenger side with a trailerhitch, while i was still moving.
Stock paint was perfect. So I was forced to get a total repaint.
I've got over 200K miles on it and it runs perfect. No rebuilds, all original, I must be lucky.
