Default Looking for emissions legal headers and y-pipe

I'm trying to find a good set of full-length or long-tubed AIR/EGR headers that have a y-pipe that can be used with the stock catalytic converter and can be had for under $500. Any help would be appreciated.

But all of their Y-pipes are Off-Road only (eliminates the cat), which I need to keep.

I'm not sure if there are a set of LTs with a compatible catted y-pipe.. true anyone?
You will most likely need to get a pair of cats and have them welded in the y-pipe. Thats my setup.

That's why you get dual Cats put on it right after the Collectors, or put the Cat right after the Y-pipe..

If I get stationed there, I am driving the Z to my Dad's garage, and he will take care of it for me. Then I can build the big motor for it..

I won't get a ticket, but I will when I can't get my tags for the car because I don't have my emissions certificate...

And the_Merv, I would love to do TD's with dual cats, but that involves a lot more $$ than I was planning on spending. And if you put the cat any farther back it won't heat up as much and defeats the purpose of having it on there (i.e., no emissions passing).

It depends on if the cat is small enough. I had a Catco cat catalytic converter that is 4 inches wide and it wouldn't fit after the pacesetter y-pipe. Too close to the driveshaft. Now I have universal random technology cats in the y-pipe.

Well they still emissions test here. I think thats pretty ridiculous for a car thats 12 years old. The minute that stops the converter is comming off. I run a pacesetter midlength set up with a high flow converter.

Not necessarily true... In upstate NY, where I am, they DO plug into the diagnostic port, just to make sure that there are no check enging lights or current emissions codes in the computer. That info feeds directly back to the state. No codes, you're good to go, as long as the usual safety stuff is also up to snuff.

Any OBDI car (like mine) in GA emissions countys have to get visual, diagnostic port, and sniffer (hence keeping the cat in tact).

in Cali I heard all cars/trucks that want to tuch the street weather it is to park or to drive on that are 1976 to 2007 have smog laws to deal with, all have to have 1 or more cat's, 1 or more o2's, a muffler behind the rear axel / closed exaust system ( no open cut outs, but you can have one, just closed at all times on the street ), no dual header set ups, an EGR, an air pump, a turbo is allowed if and only if the factory put one there and it has to be a small one, superchargers are legal, no NO2 is allowed to be ran on the street ( it can be installed but you are not allowed to have the bottle hooked up on the street ), all non stock parts like throttle bodys have to have an EO # for the part and is displayed under the hood or on the part, headders are alowed if you keep the cat's in the factory location and the same number of cat's and there is an EO# for them, and that is to get a sticker for your license plate and valid regerstration which is needed to get insurance that is required by law, so long *** story later if you want to have power on the street it gets very costly very quickly, not to mention the rolling smog stations that are ran by the CHP that make shure you have all of your papers up to date that you have to look out for Cali sucks *** for us car guys
