LT1 Water pump Help!
Hey guys a buddy of mine has asked if I would do this for him. He said that he would kick some funds my way. What all is intailed in changing the waterpump, cap/rotor in this car. Its a 94 Fleetwood, which I think is a LT1??? Any tips suggestion, or tricks. For those of you that have changed one of these, how long did it take you?
Thanks

No bull ****, got witnesses...
I have no AC, so it takes me a whole 5 min to have the Coolant drained, and the Radiator out of the Car.
And I change Plugs in 30 min, did it the other day at the Fire Station.

I will stock up on extra tools and bandaids
You guys have any idea what a shop would charge to do one of these?
Will I need any extra crap other than the pump, cap/rotor, and coolant?
Thanks again guys

Took me half a day the first time doing it. I kept the radiator in, so it was kinda a pain to maneuver around it. In fact the only things I pulled off were the alternator (replaced it at the same time) and the pump on the driver side that connects directly to the waerpump(AIR or vaccume pump, or something). Its not too bad. the longest part for me was getting the old gasket cleaned off the block.

Your headers must have good plug access. Or are you running open heads?

you must have little hands or something. or just wow. of course ive never built a engine nor would i be able to in the near future. did you remove a lot fo the stock bs and reroute ****? i tried several times to change the plugs in my lt-1 and never was i successful in one sitting, one of the rear plugs is a nightmare and never could get it to go in right. bitch would pop out sometimes. finally said the hell with and pay to have it done.
