Get some sticky tires. I'm cutting 1.7 60' and I'm on totally stock suspension with M/T drag radials.

Torque arm relocation kit removes the mounting point off the tranny. Don't get lca reloc. brackets unless you're lowered or have wheel hop.

I vote for sticky tires. Buy some slicks and have a spare set of gears waiting lol

Def get tires if you dont have them, practice with the Air PSI and driving technique.

As for relocation brackets, they will help you in any car. When the LCA is pointed down on the rear end side in relation to the body when that rear launches and twists, it pushes the LCA up into the body, helping to xfer weight as it gets the front end up.

Not saying its the 1st thing to do but not doing it all until there is a problem isnt the best way either.

a adjustable tq will make a major diff.

Ya, that's what I meant. I would buy other stuff before that if it wasn't a problem

I wouldn't count on the springs being that noticeable, but would probably be a nice complement to the overall package. I would probably pick a good shock for a spring like that and then run them together. That's just my opinion though. Others might feel differently.

The Eibach drag launch springs for the rear are not all they are cracked up to be. The rear spring sits bowed in the middle of the spring while sitting in the pearch's and that it is still after the lower control arm relocation kit. I found a spring that is cheaper and works better than the Eibach's. They fit the rear of a 1979 Chevy Monza V8 equipt car. They are the same OD as our factory spring and have a softer spring rate. They only cost me $42 here in NM.

either way when a different spring is put on a car, or if you install a 12 bolt the instant center of the rear gets thrown off, that has to be adjusted via the tq arm so that the can will not unload the suspension, Rear LCA relocation brackets help reduce this too.
