car is "bucking" and dying/stalling on me randomly
as the title says, car will dye or stall on me randomly. When it dies the speedo and tach and gauges stick at the speed, rpm, volts, oil pressure, when the car was last running. Anyone have any idea of what this could be?
Just replaced all spark plugs, plug wires, opti, cap & rotor

I think you should check all of your connections and make shure you got them tight, then check your opti harness. If it is broke then it will move around in the opti. I know cause my car did it. I would be driving and it would, "buck" like i didnt know how to drive. The clip was broke do it was making random contact.

And i mean that it feels like it hits a brick wall then accelerates really fast randomly, or will feel like it hits that wall and then dies. Fuel Pump is fairly new too has about 2000k miles on it.
I'll check all those things in the morning and thank you for the input everyone else!

I'll do that but I have a stupid question. Where are the vacuum lines and how do I check for leaks. I'm not the brightest crayon in the box when it comes to that kind of crap. Hence why I could never figure out why the headlights on my 74 Vette would go up lol.

waiting on the extentions to come in, then i'll need to run up to a GM dealership to pick up new 02s. I know for sure I need a new one on the drivers side, when I went to remove it the connecter from the 02 just crumbled to pieces. Car ran fine for a whole day when the 02s were disconnected then this came back. No car needs to be tuned and never have had it on the wideband.

I'm heading back to orlando this weekend (if the car makes it) my dad will be ready with our trailer to come pick me up if the car decides to die. But I am replacing those this weekend, and I'll be checking all the fuel lines too.
On my way home from school the car died and didn't want to start back up. Luckily I rolled into a gas station and not the middle of the road. But just being curious I unscrewed the gas cap and no "pressure" came out. The noise it usually makes when you unscrew it..... Talked to my buddy who just finished UTI and explained, he told me to check the fuel evap line, and all of that crap.
BTW what happened to national horsepower?

very little fuel comes out when i press the schrader valve. bout to take the sending unit out of the tank to see if anything has popped loose. It's trying so hard to turn over but won't. It could be spark related but I would think it would misfire and all that.

Have you put a guage on your schrader valve to see what fuel pressure you do or dont have? Have you put your car on a scanner? or done any type of real time data logging?
