Smaller than a hotcam, so look around for that and you should get ballpark figures.

Ok. My TA hot a hotcam. I was just curious because I hadn't seen this cam before. Not a cam I would pick, but its already in the car I'm looking at. I guess this is pretty nitrous friendly like the hotcam? Probably looking at 125-150 shot.

I can't see why not? I wouldn't worry about nitrous until you have less than 110LSA or so.

With the split on duration that cam has and the 112, paired with no more spray than you are planning...I wouldn't worry about it. Now if you wanted to go nuts and spray 200+ or just happened to be getting into the motor, I'd switch it out for something with a little wider LSA.

Thanks guys. Like I said, not my 1st choice of cam, but the car has it already. Its on stock heads from what I understand. Only other mod being a 3200 stall. So it needs some more work done to it! If I pick it up next weekend as scheduled, I'll try to get some baseline #'s and pics.

I had that cam for a while. That cam is real baby so don't expect any high numbers on the dyno. However, it does a good job at the track and with good driving it will get you in the 12s if you have all the supporting bolt ons and headwork. It was a great daily driver and sounded real mean through stock piping, no cat, and a flow master.

Since the car has stock heads and just a 3200 stall I'm guessing maybe 13.4 if you can hook. I have just swapeed it out for a cuatom grind along with alot of other stuff.

That is a common cam that us over sized cars run.
It is a torque monster cam.
I almost ran it with a stock bottom end.
Stock heads, it should run pretty good.

You guys don't give this cam enough credit. Several locals (including myself) ran in the low 12's with this cam and bolt-ons. Also, for a long time, this cam held the cam-only LT1 record. Do a search for Frank95Z on camaroz28.com. 11.4 at 117 cam-only is nothing to sneeze at.

that is impressive. 11.4 @ 117 cam only especiall with such a small cam as that one. did he have some serious weight reduction?

Make no mistake; the car was set up to run. I think it was around 3300 lb. 60' was in the 1.4x range. However, he's only picked up .2 and 2 mph since swapping to a much larger cam. Not worth it for most people.

Crules I weighted 3327 with me in the car when I ran 11.40 with the 210/224. I then moved to a Joe O custom cam with the same stock heads NA and ran 11.15 119.86. So the 210/224 cam is great for stockheads but in my opinion not as good as a custom grind. Engineer I just installed the ported heads that I had the bigger cam designed for this week(good news for the stockhead guys) I hope to run the new combo next weekend. Frank95z

That cam barley has any overlap the way it sits, theres no point in going with a 114 lsa.

On a nitrous cam, the reason you would use a 114 lsa is to get the EVO earlier. Nothing to do with overlap.

Yeah thats a proven cam! It will smoke a hotcam below 5k rpm. If shifting at 6500rom go hotcam, anything below 6k this cam is the ticket. Llyod spec'd me a 215/224 for my z28 after i said i wanted to shift around 5800rpm to save my shortblock and have tons of torque.
