Default LT's & bullets

Does anyone have a sound clip for a setup similar to mine with Long tubes and bullets in the y pipe, no cats and 3in factory SLP catback? Or maybe even a hooker or magnaflow muffler? Mostly I want to know if it will be too loud, not for me but my neighbors.

it will sound wicked man. i have Pacesetter LT's, ORY, and TSP Rumbler Catback on my 97' camaro. Best sound ever. You can ditch that SLP catback and go with like a loudmouth or something. it wont be too loud i promise.
Seriously though i have been running my setup since november and my neighbors haven't said a word to me.

Do you think two bullets in the y-pipe (one for each header) will actually quiet it down enough to make them worthwhile?

no two bullets wont fit. the only way to put a bullet in the system is in the i pipe-the pipe in between the y and the over the axle pipe. and yes one bullet is enough-makes it sound mean
if you were running open headers then you could do a merge collecter muffler on each side, but that is mainly for people who have to pass a decibel test at the track. as long as none of your neighbors complain, and you dont meet up with any ***** cops you will be fine on noise. just drive slow when you are around the cops

On my 94 Z28 with the new engine Tick Performance Performance Shop outta Mt. Airy, NC installed Bulletts off the headers or True Duals. I have a sound clip on streetfire.net search 398 LT1 and you can hear it!

I have LT's and TSP X-pipe with two bullets. Its pretty loud. Just idling is not so bad but, any abrupt change in RPM is very loud. Start-up is loud. Driving at a constant speed is fine but when you hit it, its loud again.

I have hooker long tubes with a y-Pipe setup no cat with a morosso spiral flow and a turn down. i can post a sound clip of that if you would like. they sound similar. My buddy has dynomax bullets on his ls1 but he has an x pipe set up with true duals. my exhaust ends right under my passenger door.

Anyone have a bullet in place of the cat and a normal catback? What will this do to the sound of the car?

i dont think you can physically fit a bullet where the cat goes....the shortest bullet out there is probably gonna be the dynomax-same as used in tsp rumbler catback...its about 14" long. next problem would be it hanging low.my bullet is like 3.5" in diameter i believe. if you could fit a bullet there though it would deepen the sound and cut down on rasp(if there is any). its probably also not a good idea to eliminate 1 cat and still have one on your car...throw the flow out of whack.
